About the Role
As a Senior People Business Partner at Sportsbet, you’ll play a key role in shaping and executing our People agenda across the business. Partnering closely with senior leaders, you’ll drive the development and implementation of divisional People plans, using commercial insights, workforce data and organisational context to inform decision-making.
You’ll be a trusted advisor, coaching leaders and building strong relationships across all levels of the organisation. From supporting complex change and transformation programs to co-leading the design and implementation of CoE-led initiatives, you’ll ensure business strategies are aligned with people outcomes that drive performance, adaptability, and cultural alignment.
This role is pivotal in embedding our People frameworks into divisional ways of working, leading workforce planning, influencing organisational design, supporting ER matters, and uplifting leadership capability to manage end-to-end People activities with confidence.
You’ll also lead and develop a direct report (HRBP), contribute to the broader P&C team culture, and role model a collaborative, insight-led and commercially focused approach.

About You
- You bring 5+ years’ experience in a senior HR Business Partner role within a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- You’re a strategic thinker with a strong track record in organisational effectiveness, change management and workforce planning.
- You’ve successfully navigated ER matters, balancing commercial insight with sound judgment.
- You influence and engage stakeholders at all levels through coaching, data-driven insights, and collaborative decision-making.
- You have experience co-leading or enabling CoE programs and embedding People frameworks across the employee lifecycle.
- You thrive in change and ambiguity, demonstrating resilience, agility, and a continuous improvement mindset.
- You’re a people leader who develops others, uplifts capability, and delivers outcomes through coaching and support.
