Lead Analyst, Near Prime Credit Strategy London - Hybrid
Operating as part of a team of senior and junior credit analysts, this dynamic role looks to improve the credit quality of the NewDay cards portfolios, supporting the targeted, responsible growth of the Direct to Consumer business. The role leads on the design and optimisation of credit strategies, with a focus on positive customer outcomes, forecasting of credit performance, and operational oversight of the control environment for the wider New Customer Lending team.

The Data Science team is at the heart of NewDay, solving real world problems and providing transformational value for the business. Through our proprietary platforms and analytical assets, we provide infrastructure, data and insights to our business partners. Through our strong credit data science models and reporting capabilities, we support responsible lending and a top-notch credit journey for our customers. The Specialist Data Scientist will be a key contributor to the Data Science team at NewDay. Over the past few years, we have built the team and framework to produce powerful data science solutions for all aspects of the customer journey (Customer acquisition, Customer management, Collections, Affordability, Fraud, Impairment and others), using modern data science methodologies and multiple sources of data, building on the strong foundation of expert insight into credit risk behaviours. This role sits within the Fraud & Impairment team.
IFRS9 Lead, Impairment Reporting (12 month FTC) London - Hybrid
IFRS9 Lead, Impairment Reporting is an exciting role in NewDay, responsible for delivering the production and reporting of monthly IFRS 9 P&L results in a timely manner including analysis and explanation of key drivers to senior leadership team across Credit Management, Enterprise Risk and Finance. You will be expected to understand and communicate regular Impairment model performance updates, expected credit loss monitoring results as well as support model deep dives with the aim to deliver meaningful and regular insights internally and externally (auditors). The role sits in a wider Credit and Impairment Insights function, partnering with the Impairment strategy and Finance functions.
Securitisation Reporting Analyst London - Hybrid
Securitisation Reporting Analyst Working at our iconic office in King’s Cross, London, and virtually via Microsoft Teams As part of the Treasury Securitisation reporting team, you will be accountable for the internal and external reporting and management of the NewDay securitisation structures in accordance with the legal documentation of the vehicles. You’ll provide the reporting and manage the liquidity of the vehicles and work with others to contribute to the successful funding of NewDay.
Partnerships Manager (Embedded Fianance) London - Hybrid
As part of a growing partnership management team, you’ll be responsible for the end to end strategic development and management of embedded finance and NewPay partnerships.   The Partner Relationship Manager will be the main point of contact for NewDay’s Enterprise Clients, and will lead all aspects of programme performance. You will develop the embedded finance programme to help deliver positive customer outcomes and hit commercial objectives. You’ll deliver all P+L based performance targets for allocated NewPay partners with a focus on new customer recruitment and customer usage of the product.

Senior Business Development Manager, Partnerships (Embedded Finance) London - Hybrid

Head of Engineering, Engineering Excellence London - Hybrid
How will your role contribute at NewDay? Our mission is to build a world class engineering team enabled by great technology, people and process. The Head of Engineering, Engineering Excellence is a senior leadership role accountable for defining and leading on the platform standards for engineering excellence across the wider organisation. We believe we are building something truly exciting underpinned by cloud native engineering, great talent and modern software development practices! This role will have leadership responsibilities for approximately 20 engineers at various levels in London and a number of nearshore locations. We have you-build-it-you-run-it teams responsible for all elements of the product in partnership with the product organisation. The are four elements to this exciting position! 1. Work with other Heads of Engineering to define the standards followed on how we integrate a verify platform quality. 2. Own the data collection and reporting on engineering telemetry and make this available to everyone that needs it. For example DORA metrics, test completion, code quality etc. 3. Lead enabling teams that support engineering excellence, in particular performance, chaos testing and simulation. 4. Development and ownership of a key customer journey testing tool that verifies different journeys for different tenants continuously.
