About the role
Reporting to the Head of Merchandise Data Services and based onsite at the Homebush West franchisor office, you will provide analytical support to the business through assessment and engagement to capture and fulfill requirements enabling data definitions and quality rules in accordance with standards in internal policies and procedures.
You will;
- Determine and maintain master data accuracy across all categories.
- Liaise with Suppliers, Merchants and other Parties to fulfill requirements through the adoption of processes, policies and procedures.
- Provide insight and analysis to support & improve business and operational performance.
- Develop and deliver analytical reporting and dashboards based on business objectives.
- Analyse business requirements to cleanse and purify data into a working state.
About you
You will possess a keen eye for detail and exceptional analytical skills, driven by passion for building a career in Data Analytics & Reporting. Additionally, you will be an excellent communicator, capable of fostering strong stakeholder relationships at all levels of the organisation.
You will also have;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel with strong confidence in VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Proficiency and sound knowledge of relational models for database management (DB2 or SQL Server preferred).
- Knowledge of ETL tools (such as Microsoft SQL Server integration services, informatica, or IBM Data storage).
- Experience with analytical platforms (such as SAP, SAS, Power BI).
- Great teamwork abilities with a strong emphasis on building rapport.
- Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, allowing you to meet tight deadlines effectively.
