About This Role:

K-State is hiring for Associate Director of CRM Operations to join the Office of Enrollment Management. This role supports recruitment and retention at Kansas State University. The Associate Director has the authority to make day-to-day decisions regarding the implementation, ongoing development, and support of the CRM. This position is responsible for initiating, prioritizing, and managing work and projects vital to delivering a system that meets the university's needs. Evaluates new functionality to ensure that the CRM continues to evolve and improve. Provides leadership around implementing new functionality and processes, manages project timelines, engages functional users in testing and building as appropriate, and coordinates training plans and training execution. The Associate Director will also oversee and project manage any large system updates or implementations related to the CRM.

This position will work alongside other CRM Data Analysts on the CRM tech team to analyze business processes and identify opportunities to apply technology and improve efficiencies while promoting best practices. This position is highly analytical by nature and can identify and implement efficiencies within the CRM system's scope. This position reports to the Vice Provost of Enrollment Management.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Five years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Management and Marketing or Information Technology or similar is preferred
  • Strongly prefer 3-4 years experience as a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Administrator
  • 2-3 years experience configuring, testing, documenting and supporting the CRM
  • 2-3 years experience in higher education in particular Admissions and/or Enrollment Management
  • Abililty to find additional pertinent data sources and innovative ways to generate lead data
  • Proven track record of successfully working autonomously, while enjoying the opportunity to work on a team-based tasks and projects
  • Knowledge of Student Information Systems such as PeopleSoft software
  • Proven experience in a higher education environment working with clients
  • Strong/proven problem solving skills across multi-disciplinary skill sets and ability to function in a start-up environment
  • Strong ability to effectively prioritize competing requests, while keeping lines of communication open and clients satisfied
  • Possess a high level of the following work skills and behaviors:
    teamwork/cooperation, initiative, customer service, and commitment to continuous professional growth in skills and knowledge.

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range:

$65,440 - $80,000 annually
