IT Administrator

About This Role

The College of Business IT department is seeking a full-time IT Administrator to provides ongoing support of all systems. Oversees the establishment and expansion of operating system software, programming and alteration of operating systems, performance testing, database administration and upkeep, computer protection, server configuration and maintenance.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree 
  • Three to five years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an Information Technology field, combined with 2 years of experience in either a server or desktop support role (Experience and Education may be traded at the discretion of the hiring committee) 
  • Evidence of excellent skills in workplace collaboration
  • Excellent oral and written communication 
  • Excellent customer service skills  
  • Able to work independently to complete complex technical tasks 
  • Ability to work non-standard hours to facilitate IT needs  
  • Technical knowledge of server configuration, networking, computer and other device configuration and imaging in primarily a Window environment, with Linux and Cloud knowledge preferred (Azure)  
  • Experience in each of the following areas is highly preferred – Advanced experience in server configuration and maintenance, virtual servers and maintenance, device imaging, SCCM, Active Directory, Group Policy configuration scripting, mobile device management (Jamf), Azure administration and configuration, Microsoft 365/SharePoint support  
  • Commitment to understanding one's own experiences and perspectives as well as the experiences and perspectives of diverse others in an effort to cultivate strong relationships and collaboration  

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range

$61,591 - $75,000
