Intern - Clinical Nutrition
About This Role
The Veterinary Health Center is offering a 12-month clinical internship in small animal veterinary clinical nutrition and primary care. Interns will also educate veterinary students about clinical nutrition. The majority of time will be spent working with VHC primary care clinicians with time also spent in clinically relevant specialty services. Interns will work alongside Hill’s Pet Nutrition board certified ACVN specialists, who are CVM adjunct faculty members and nutrition case consultants. Successful completion of the internship will help prepare individuals for advancement into a nutrition-related residency program or industry position, and provide additional training in primary care case management.

All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Minimum Qualifications:
- DVM or equivalent (Graduate of a College of Veterinary Medicine)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Kansas Veterinary Institutional License
