We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individual for our Cleaning & Laundry Assistant position at our Broadford location on a Part-Time basis. Reporting directly to the Facility Manager this role is responsible for ensuring the cleaning and uniform services provided are completed to the highest standard and to customer satisfaction.

The position in more detail

  • Perform cleaning tasks including
    • mopping
    • vacuuming
    • wiping down surfaces
    • other cleaning cleaning tasks as required
  • Safe handling of chemical and/or hazardous substances
  • Ensure all soiled garments are prepared for collection on each service day
  • Ensure garments are placed into individual lockers or racks as required
  • Maintaining a stock of reserve garments 
  • Complete paperwork for garments that need to be sent for repair, replacement, rebrand, fixing including increases, decreases, size exchanges stock.

Minimum Criteria:

  • Previous commercial cleaning experience
  • Admin experience will be highly regarded
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • High level attention to detail
  • Highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines
  • COVID 19 Vaccination Certificate outlining Full vaccination is required. As a service provider, ISS must comply with all public health directives and client requirements. Medical exemptions will apply.
