We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced and highly motived Training & HSEQ Managers to join our dynamic team supporting our Canberra Hospital cleaning operations team.
Key responsibilities include managing the daily operational requirements including ensuring strict hygiene and infection control, auditing and scheduling of cleaning requirements whilst recognizing Work Health and Safety standards.
You will be responsible in championing continuous improvement of training programs and the Health, Environment, and Quality standards within our operations. Reporting to Performance Manager, you will be a key member of the leadership team and will have full autonomy to work closely with key stakeholders to implement, monitor, and enhance quality management systems, training initiatives, and innovation projects required by the Company.
Here is a snapshot of your day:
- Collaborate with the Performance Manager and Key Account Manager to implement, review, and improve the Quality Management System and Quality Plan.
- Oversee training programs to meet key performance targets, focusing on platforms such as Velocity EHS, ISS LMS, Purespace Health, and Manual Handling.
- Lead the Quality Audit Program, ensuring effective implementation of the QMS and supplier compliance.
- Provide operational advice and coaching to duty managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitor non-conformance reports, ensuring investigations, corrective actions, and resolutions are effectively managed.
- Generate and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support data-driven decision-making.
- Partner with teams to identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, safety, and quality.
- Drive innovation opportunities and support project delivery and lifecycle management.
- Ensure compliance with the annual Management Review process of the QMS and deliver actionable recommendations.
- Promote a continuous improvement culture across hospital operations, delivering impactful projects within scope, budget, and timelines.
- Work closely with Performance Manager to identify data quality improvements, and standardisation opportunities.
What will you possess to be successful:
- Strong Facilities Management (Hard and soft) experience essential
- Sound knowledge of implementation of HSEQ processes in operations
- Sound knowledge of WHS Act, Regulations and Codes
- Investigation Techniques training
- COVID 19 Vaccination Certificate outlining Full vaccination is required. As a service provider, ISS must comply with all public health directives and client requirements. Medical exemptions will apply.
