Our ISS Health Team is growing and we are currently seeking people to join us in the position of Ward Support at a number of Hospitals sites we current deliver services too.  We are offering Casual or Perm Part Time shifts.

Support Services Attendant:

The Support Service Attendant (SSA) is a multi-discipline role encompassing performing the following duties;

  • Patient Movement and Co-ordination Service
  • Transporting patients across the hospital site as directed
  • Assist with transportation of medical equipment 
  • Collection and delivery of records and documentation
  • Assist with transportation of equipment across the site
  • Follow all infection prevention protocols
  • Adhere to correct manual handling procedures and WHS practices

Minimum Criteria:

  • Evidence of immunisation for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Influenza, Tetanus, Pertussis, Diptheria, Hep B, Polio
  • Flexibility to work a rotational roster; including early mornings, night shifts, weekends and public holidays.
  • Current Police Clearance no older than 3 months is essential 
  • Current DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC) is essential 
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service
  • Strong communication skills
