The Department of Biology & Wildlife within the College of Natural Science & Mathematics is currently recruiting for a 3/4 time Administrative Assistant. This position serves as a key point of contact for faculty, staff, students, and visitors and is an integral part of the department's office staff.
This role provides administrative support to the Department Chair, faculty, and professional staff within the department. Duties include a variety of administrative day-to-day tasks such as handling general inquiries and office correspondence, coordination of department activities, management of department calendars, scheduling meetings, resolving tech issues, purchasing office supplies, assisting with program data collection, overseeing informational and record-keeping tasks, receiving and distributing mail, and other tasks as requested.
