Standardized Patients work with College of Health students as they learn and develop examination, interviewing, and therapeutic skills in simulated clinical encounters. Standardized Patients should have a commitment to the education of healthcare professionals and lack bias towards the healthcare system. Hired persons must sign a Consent and Non-Disclosure Agreement. This position is temporary; work is assigned as needed; and may include telework. Standardized Patients work with students located at various sites across Alaska. Positions are available at the following campus sites: Anchorage, Bethel, Dillingham, Fairbanks, Homer, Juneau, Kenai, Ketchikan, Kodiak, Kotzebue, Mat-Su, Nome, Petersburg, Sitka, and Valdez. |

Prince William Sound College (PWSC) is seeking applicants for adjunct faculty positions in the Outdoor Leadership & Recreation disciplines. PWSC is part of the University of Alaska Anchorage which is independently accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU). With its campus in Valdez and two extension centers in Cordova and the Copper Basin region, PWSC serves an expansive rural area in Alaska and delivers a significant amount of distance delivery in addition to tradition classroom instruction. Periodically, Outdoor Leadership & Recreation instructors are needed primarily to support the Associate of Arts degree program, as well as many General Education Requirement courses of the college. |
