Position Summary:

The Physics Department at the College of Natural Science & Mathematics is seeking to hire part-time paper graders.

The College of Natural Science & Mathematics is seeking to hire part-time paper graders for the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 academic semesters. These positions may become available throughout the year and will be engaged from this posting; therefore if you are interested in working with this department we encourage you to submit your application for consideration. As a reminder, student jobs are hired on an as-needed basis. Review of applications may begin immediately after the job has been posted. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Duties require considerable math and physics knowledge and skills. Ability to work safely.
Preferred Experience & Education:
Typically two years of physics and math is sufficient. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and to post grades correctly.
Required Experience & Education:

Canvas familiarity a plus, but not required. Ability to use a database program such as Excel. Must be a full time student at UAF and have at least one year of physics (two preferred) at level consistent with course being graded. PHYS 211 and 212

Salary Information:

New hires start at $15.26/hr and CNSM offers a 2% increase for consecutive academic years.
