The University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF), College of Natural Science and Mathematics (CNSM) and Institute of Arctic Biology (IAB) seek a tenure-track Assistant Professor whose expertise falls broadly within any subdiscipline of animal ecology. This position will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the Wildlife Biology and / or Biological Sciences programs and conduct research and advise graduate students in their area of expertise.

Assistant or Associate Professor of Cryospheric Science - 2 positions available Fairbanks
The University of Alaska Fairbanks is America’s premier Arctic research institution and we are seeking two tenure-track faculty in cryospheric science at the rank of assistant or associate professor. Both positions will be joint appointments with UAF's Geophysical Institute (75%) and the College of Natural Science and Mathematics, Department of Geosciences (25%). These faculty will carry out externally funded cryospheric research as members of the Snow and Ice and Permafrost research group at the Geophysical Institute and will teach core courses in the newly established Earth System Science graduate degree program as well as cryosphere-related courses in the undergraduate Geoscience program. Candidates will be expected to undertake public, professional and University service activities.
