The UAF Environmental Support Services unit will provide developmental planning and environmental services to Fort Wainwright in accordance with the recently signed Intergovernmental Support Agreement (IGSA). One of the required services in accordance with the agreement is a dedicated full-time professional to conduct Resource Conservation Recovery Act (RCRA) Hazardous Waste (HW) program support operations and to ensure all required activities and sources are properly permitted and in compliance with applicable regulations.The RCRA Specialist will be the subject matter expert for the team and provide knowledge in areas of Resource Conservation Recovery Act Hazardous Waste support services. This person will assist in the development of plans and tasks to ensure compliance in support of Ft. Wainwright and support field workers needed. |
