| The University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA), School of Preventive and Therapeutic Sciences seeks an innovative, energetic individual who will work in a collaborative teaching environment in the delivery of School of Preventive and Therapeutic Sciences courses in the UAA Dental Hygiene program. The faculty member appointed to this position will provide advising to prospective and current Dental Hygiene students as well as didactic, laboratory, and clinical education to students enrolled in the Dental Hygiene program. The faculty member will contribute to the structure and daily operation of the program and clinic, including organization, administration, periodic review and evaluation, continued development, and general effectiveness of program curricula.

The Service Desk is a member of the Nanook Technology Services team and serves UAF and UA customers as the first point of contact for technology support. You will work directly with students, faculty, and staff to understand their needs and resolve issues with desktops, laptops, applications, resource access, and more!
Growth in this role includes developing expertise across the portfolio of technology services UAF and OIT offer, including Canvas, Blackboard, and Google Suite. You will use that knowledge to assist customers on the phone, over chat, in person, through emails, and via the service request platform.

MC-ICPMS Analytical Staff

| The Alaska Stable Isotope Facility (ASIF) at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) seeks applicants for a term-funded, staff position to lead the use and maintainance of a Multi Collector Plasma Inductively Coupled Mass Spectrometry (NEPTUNE - multi collector ICPMS) to analyze samples submitted by clients for a broad range of projects. Strontium isotopes are the focus of the lab and prior experience using and applying this isotopic system is needed. This position will involve running and promoting the state-of-the-art MC-ICPMS instrumentation as part of the ASIF, which is a non-profit, analytical research facility (research center) in a dedicated state-of-the-art lab space. |
