The Patient Access Scheduling Analyst reports to the Senior Manager, Capacity Management. Under limited supervision, the Patient Access Scheduling Analyst executes all assigned physician and ancillary scheduling requests to ensure efficient daily operation. A key piece of this role is the COVID vaccination schedule operations. This role creates, organizes, and edits schedules to effectively meet MUSC guidelines and to maximize patient and provider satisfaction.
MUHA AA67L - Registrar - COVID Testing/Vaccine Site Chester, SC
The COVID Testing/Vaccine Site Registrar will focus on registering patients in our community at MUSC’s COVID-19 testing sites. Under the direct supervision of the COVID-19 Testing Site lead, the role will perform multi-skilled activities to support the safe and efficient testing of patients for COVID-19. The following activities will be required in this role: Intake and document patient demographic information; document all pertinent insurance information; ensure accuracy when inputting all patient information; convey information to patients about when to expect results and methods for receiving result information; greet patients and guide them to the next portion of the testing process; and maintain attention to detail and comply with all registration processes as directed. Additional non-clinical roles of which are pertinent to successful testing site operations may be assigned (e.g. traffic directing, greeting, wayfinding). The role may be asked to act as a buddy to the COVID-19 Testing Clinicians.

The COVID Testing/Vaccine Site Clinical Nurse will perform testing and vaccinating practices for patients in our community. Under the direct supervision of the COVID-19 Testing Site lead, the COVID-19 Testing/Vaccine Clinical Nurse will perform multi-skilled activities to support safe and efficient testing and vaccination of patients for COVID-19. The COVID-19 Testing/Vaccine Clinical Nurse is expected to assist with performing nasopharyngeal (PCR) swabbing, nasal swabbing, and other testing methodologies as directed.
