The purpose of the System Director, QAPI program, is to lead all aspects of the Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program across the MUSC Health system. This position will oversee a large team of highly qualified Quality and Safety Managers (QSMs) across all pICCE and cICCE to run these ICCE-based QAPI programs. The Director will be responsible for leading all aspects of the program and supervising the team members. The Director reports directly to the System Chief Quality Officer. Under limited supervision, the Director will lead and manage all aspects of quality and safety efforts throughout the system, work collaboratively with ICCE leaders to manage their QAPI programs, and manage all aspects of the QSM team members (recruiting, onboarding, retention, performance, engagement). This position will regularly attend and report to various governance groups across the system, including QEC and QOC as well as various PECs and others as requested by senior leaders.
