Job Duties:
10Oversee the Retired Faculty Program: This includes assisting with planning of the annual retired faculty event (invitations, registration, set-up, attending, etc.), handling the business card and email program, and working with external departments to grow our retired faculty database.Essential
10Provide front line support and customer service for the Planned Giving Office: Answer incoming calls, manage expenses (mileage, entertainment justification, check requests, and credit card statements), handle frontline support on website inquiries, etc.Essential
20Oversee the Stewardship of Current Planned Gifts along with the Planned Giving staff: Manage acknowledgement process for incoming planned gifts. This includes coordinating a letter from the President’s Office and a letter from the Executive Director of Planned Giving. Track and file acknowledgement in print, digital and Raiser’s Edge records. Additionally, oversee birthday card and call program. This includes pulling monthly birthday lists from Raiser’s Edge, addressing cards, and circulating for signature in the planned giving office, as well as alerting planned giving team of weekly birthday calls. Stewardship may also include but is not limited to holiday cards, sympathy outreach, donor stories, and coordination of promotional items.Essential
25Coordinate the Marketing Plan for the Planned Giving Office: Assist in content creation and design for internal and external print and digital marketing pieces. Oversee calendar to ensure materials are produced and executed in a timely manner. Create and send monthly e-newsletter (write content, work with communications on design, and manage content calendar).Essential
35Manage the Open Estates, Life Income, IRA, Life Insurance and other Planned Gifts: Manage the Life Insurance Gift Program by reviewing all statements, interpreting and recording the new information, evaluating the health of each life insurance policy and its effect on the entire program and recommending actions or strategies for the health and growth of the program. Manage the Life Income and Trust Gift Program to include: management of current and deferred gift annuities and various types of charitable trusts, recognizing and communication issues, responding to donor requests, working with the charitable funds manager to service accounts, maintaining accurate files for back up documentation, and entering all activities of program into the Raiser''s Edge Database. Manage the Open Estates Program (Pending/Probate Gifts) to include coordinating the establishment, administration, collection and closing of all pending estate distributions and gift pledges. Processing of all planned gifts, including IRA gifts and acknowledgements.Essential

Payscale Salary Range: UNIV-Band 4: $26,988.00 - $38,460.00 - $49,932.00 (min - mid - max)

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: A bachelor's degree.
