Job Summary/Purpose: The Director of Billing Integration is responsible for ensuring the coordination and effectiveness of the affiliate billing and collections activities.  The position serves as the revenue cycle point of contact for new and different business strategies for the MUSC Health Revenue Cycle.  The director is responsible for non-Epic billing for all affiliates, to include the University.  This role serves as a payer liaison and keeps others in the organization informed about critical coding and billing policy changes related to the entities under her/his responsibility.

Minimum Training and Education: Bachelor's degree in related field, Master's degree preferred. CPC preferred. Minimum of five years of work experience in a progressive management role with overall healthcare billing experience preferably at a director level. Must have direct experience with facility and physician billing reimbursement preferably in a faculty practice plan setting. Strong leadership and consultative skills. Excellent analytical and project management skills. Exceptional interpersonal and strong verbal/written communication skills. Strong computer skills; MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel with advanced knowledge of financial systems, to include skills with other business intelligence and analytical tools. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.  Excellent project management, communication and presentation skills required.
