Responsible for providing quality nursing care while maintaining accountability for the coordination of patient care in Cardiology and Nuclear Stress, ECHO Stress, and Stress testing. RN II on the Pain Management/ Orthopedic PMR Procedural clinic reports to the Outpatient Clinic Manager of the unit. Under general supervision, the RN II provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and adult patients experiencing pain/ orthopedic problems at a competent level.

The 66 bed Neonatal Intensive and Intermediate Care Units are located in our Children's Hospital. The MUSC NICU is the regional referral center for this area, providing care to premature and sick neonates. The average daily census is 66. The Neonatal ICUs provides medical and surgical care with most common diagnoses including prematurity, respiratory distress, and neonatal surgical conditions. In addition to respiratory and nutritional support, the NICUs provide ECMO/CRRT and surgical support. Pediatric Palliative care is available as needed. Two units located on the 8th floor of Children's Hospital include the 27 bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and the 9 bed Special Care Nursery. The 29 bed Level 2 Nursery is adjacent to Labor and Delivery on the 5th floor of MUSC's Main Hospital. The NICU also supports an infant home monitoring program for infants requiring monitoring upon discharge. All NICU beds are monitored beds.
