The Clinical Practice Nurse Expert I (CPNE I) reports to the Unit Manager. In collaboration with the Unit Manager, the CPNE I is responsible for clinical practice on their respected unit(s). This position assists in developing quality care initiatives to improve patient outcomes and patient safety. This role recognizes practice opportunities and works with the intraprofessional team to help remove barriers and begin to enhance evidenced based practice standards.
MUHA AC41 - Charge Capture & Products Coordinator Charleston, SC, Charleston, SC-Downtown
Under general supervision, the Charge Capture & Products Coordinator is responsible for accurate and timely entry of patient charges to include posting, updating, reconciling, routine auditing and preparing summary financial and statistical reports. This position is responsible for ensuring that procedural documentation, along with physician documentation, meets the guidelines and regulations for correct billing and reimbursement. Charge Capture & Products Coordinator works closely with Hospital Coders to resolve and correct any documentation issues or processes delaying or limiting proper coding for the procedures. This role is responsible for notifying the leadership of any process issues related to documentation and coding of procedures. This role is also be responsible for communicating missing documentation to the physicians and assisting the physician in completing the necessary documentation that supports correct billing for all procedures.

This is a journeyman level position in the maintenance and repair of buildings and facilities during peak and non-peak hours in the entire Medical University of South Carolina, Medical Centers. Work involves the use of power and hand tools in maintaining specific zone assignments which covers a variety of corrective maintenance and repairs ranging from minor to extensive. All work is performed in accordance with instructions and established trade practices. Occasional monitoring or supervision may be necessary when new assignments are given. All work assignments will originate from the Hospital Help Desk, FRC, Maintenance Manager or Supervisor and subject to supervision and inspection by same or assigned subordinate. Considered Essential Personnel in a disaster situation.
