Under general supervision, the Telehealth Clinical Outreach Coordinator manages and supervises the professional, clinical, quality, and educational needs and initiatives for the MUSC Telehealth Clinical Acute Services at over 40 hospitals and acute care facilities across South Carolina and is strategically moving to serve hospitals across the country through novel revenue producing contracted services (approximately $5.5M annually). This role works closely with the Medical Directors of the MUSC Telehealth Acute Services, Telehealth Acute Services Nurse Manager, and Director of Operations to develop, facilitate, and ensure success of revenue producing acute telehealth services (ex. Stroke, Neuro, ID, ICU, Palliative, Hospital Medicine, etc). The Telehealth Clinical Outreach Coordinator is responsible for supporting achievement of the statewide hospital consortium’s certification, utilization, and quality goals of all acute clinical services. This position provides clinical support and acute services expertise to the service development team and all outreach stakeholders and acts as a clinical expert consultant to external hospital clinical and quality teams across the state. National designation as a Center of Excellence in Telehealth, as designated by the Health Resources and Services Administration relies heavily on the daily operational relationships and quality of services provided by this position.

This position is assigned to the Telehealth Remote Patient Monitoring Department, in support of the Virtual Home Visitation and Resource Connector clinical service. This telehealth initiative, in which families are enrolled upon infant birth, provides services including the assessment of physical development, social, and mental health. Families are connected to appropriate resources, as needed, to facilitate optimal wellness. This role is based upon a 40 hour work week. The Telehealth Application Analyst II will develop, implement and support clinical information systems impacting telehealth activity. Under the leadership of the Center for Telehealth, this position will work collaboratively with users of MUSC's Clinical Information Systems (CIS), with all departments in the Office of the CIO -Information Services (OCIO-IS) division, and all other departments or groups, campus-wide, as necessary, in problem-solving issues related to telehealth relevant Clinical Information Systems. The Sr. IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring/controlling project and program activities, communicating, managing stakeholder engagement, and reporting across existing and new application implementations within MUSC's academic, research, and healthcare information system portfolios. This role ensures the accurate recording and timely resolution of project issues, change requests, and risks, and for maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation including charters, budgets, timelines, and other project documents. This position is expected to comply with, support, provide feedback on, and participate in developing enterprise-wide project management methodologies, tools, applications, and processes as defined by the OCIO PMO. This role serves as a project manager for enterprise projects involving technology and as a mentor to project managers across the MUSC enterprise.
