Job description:
As a Business Manage you will provide comprehensive business management support to the Clinical and Nursing Directors of Surgical and Perioperative Services at Launceston General Hospital (including Anaesthesia).
This role acts as the key link for departmental operations, overseeing strategic and business planning, financial and non-financial management, procurement, contracts, and performance monitoring.
Operate with a high level of autonomy to deliver complex outcomes, using analysis, risk management, and problem-solving expertise to improve service delivery. Manage budgets (operational and capital), develop standards, performance indicators, and financial targets, and contribute to executive decision-making and committees.
Lead procurement processes and stakeholder relationships, while supporting service quality, research initiatives, and continuous improvement across the department.
