The role:
Providing a range of customer-focused library and information services and supply technical support for the operation and maintenance of a special library.

The Launceston General Hospital, Ramsay Library:
- Usual place of work will be in the Ramsay Library, Launceston General Hospital but some travel or remote working may be required.
- The Department of Health Library is a state-wide service.
- Library Services is a small team of Librarians and Library technicians.

Details of Appointment
Fixed term, part time, day worker position working 45.6 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for a period of six (6) months.
*Notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or fixed term full time, part time and casual vacancies.
Salary: $71,661 - $77,455 pro-rata per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Eligibility:
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
- Possession of a Diploma in Library and Information Studies or equivalent TAFE/Polytechnic or post-secondary qualification with eligibility for Library Technician membership of the Australian Library and Information Association.
