The Role:
As a member of the health care team, the CSD Technician:
- Decontaminates, packages, sterilises and distributes reusable medical devices (RMDs) for the Operating Theatre and other specialist and general areas.
- Maintains a clean and hygienic environment to facilitate the control of infection in the Central Sterilising Department (CSD).

The Team:
- Be part of a dynamic, fast paced, and supportive team
- Support can be provided for the study for completion of Certificate III in Sterilising Services for the successful applicant
- Provide an efficient sterilisation and decontamination services to the North West Regional Hospital (NWRH) and Mersey Community Hospital (MCH)
Details of appointment:
Fixed term, casual, position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 12.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
*Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar vacancies across the North West.
Salary: $67,193 - $70,993 pro rata, per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
