The Role:
Provide an effective and efficient operation of a warehouse facility that provides medical consumables to the hospitals, North and North West and community centres including overseeing the Supply Department’s daily warehousing activities to ensure workloads are effectively prioritised to effectively meet service delivery needs.
Provide support and advice to Supply Department clients to ensure efficient and effective ordering processes and leading warehouse operational team members in the receiving, issue, delivery, distribution and secure storage of goods.
Key Duties:
- Responsible for the daily activities and ongoing planning, coordination and support of all staff and material resources in the Supply Warehouse. This includes processing time sheets and pay related queries, identifying vacancies, providing supervision, and staff performance reviews in accordance with relevant legislation and codes of practice.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to individual team members, with the aim to increase their skills, productivity and customer service, and identify and manage staff training needs via skills gap analysis and provide internal and/or external training from experienced team members or external courses.
- Responsible for effective order processing, picking, packing and dispatch activities. Regularly review re-stocking and bin storage, stock rotation including regular cycle counts and stock-take requirements.
- Manage the day-to-day rosters including, rostered days off, leave requirements in conjunction with Warehouse and Distribution Manager and ensure weekly team talks are conducted and any items raised is documented and shared with appropriate management.

Details of appointment:
Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $81,915 to $94,263 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
