About You
Treasury is seeking a Senior Intelligence and Data Analyst to join our small collaborative team in the Revenue Branch. In this role you will provide high-quality data services and strategic advice that support the objectives of the State Revenue Office.
This is an exciting opportunity to work across a wide range of tax, rebate and grant related initiatives, collaborating with internal and external stake holders to inform policy and improve service delivery.
You will be a motivated and capable professional with strong analytical and communication skills. To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate the ability to:
- Analyse complex data and provide clear, evidence-based insights and recommendations.
- Manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work within tight timeframes.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to a wide range of audiences.

About the Branch
The Revenue Branch manages collection of taxation for the State. The branch administers a number of grants, determines taxation objections and ensures that taxpayers are compliant with State taxation and grant legislation.
Hours per fortnight
Up to 73.5 - hours flexible - talk to us about how this could work for you. We are open to considering a range of flexible work options including part time hours.
Period of Appointment
Appointment to the role is on a permanent, flexible basis.
Desirable Requirements
A relevant qualification or equivalent experience.
