About the role

These roles will deliver education and engagement activities to achieve program outcomes that enhance the visitor experience. Duties are predominately in-person, engaging with day visitors, bushwalkers, campers, community groups and stakeholders over the peak visitation period in selected National Parks and Reserves.

We are looking for people to undertake roving activities and interpret the values of iconic Tasmanian places of natural wonder and deliver essential messages. Locations include Cradle Mountain, Mt Field, Great Western Tiers, Maria Island, Narawntapu, Bay of Fires, Bruny Island, Stanley, and Arthur River.

These are fixed term positions working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing in early December (training) with varying rosters across different locations.

Position requirements

• Pre-employment conviction check.
• Registration to “Work with Vulnerable People”.
• Current motor vehicle driver’s licence.
