| The Shackouls Technical Communication Program (STCP) in The Bagley College of Engineering is seeking an instructor to teach Professional Communication for Engineers (GE 3513). GE 3513 is a junior-level writing course required for all engineering undergraduates. The primary objective of the course is to help students build and strengthen practical, adaptable writing and presenting skills that will prepare them for workplace communication expectations. Course content includes paper and presentation assignments, teamwork skills, and a strong focus on engineering ethics. The instructor position also supports the program’s service efforts within the BCoE. The instructor is under the administrative supervision of the Dean in the Bagley College of Engineering but reports directly to the Technical Communications Coordinator. This is a full-time, non-tenure-track 9-month position. |
