This position also takes a lead role with assisting and recommending to our MSU client community computer system hardware upgrades. This position requires knowledge of and compliance with University policies and procedures. This is a customer focused position that requires a strong sense of urgency, open communication, technical skills, customer service skills and the aptitude to learn various information technology systems within our campus IT hardware environment.

Manager of Instructional Media Technology is a position under the administrative supervision of the Director of Information Technology Infrastructure. The Instructional Media Technology unit within Information Technology Infrastructure is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of Audio/Video solutions and components in instructional spaces and conference/huddle rooms, along with support of digital signage equipment across MSU campuses. Specific responsibilities of the Manager of Instructional Media Technology include supervision of Instructional Media Technology personnel as well as active participation in the activities and functions of the unit. The manager will be expected to actively work with the Director of Information Technology Infrastructure, other ITS managers, and personnel to plan, implement, maintain, and support the instructional media technology infrastructure of the University.
