The Department of Plant and Soil Sciences & Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Mississippi State University is seeking applicants for a 100% Assistant Teaching Professor. The successful candidate for this position will hold a 9-month, non-tenure track position. Candidates with a Ph.D.. degree in a related field would qualify for appointment as Assistant Teaching Professor. The incumbent will develop an exemplary educational program, including course development and classroom instruction, in precision agriculture technologies in cooperation with faculty in the Department of Plant and Soil Sciences (PSS) and the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering (ABE). Candidates will be expected to teach in the PSS and ABE curricula and may also be involved in advising undergraduate students.
Extension Agent	019208 - MSU Extension- Carroll County	Carroll County
The primary responsibility of the Family, Health, and Wellness (FHW) Extension agent will be to provide leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive education program focused on FHW, which includes early childhood education, family financial management, health, food safety, and nutrition. Secondary responsibilities will include a smaller percentage of time working in the areas of Community Resource Development (CRD) and 4-H Youth Development. Knowledge of FHW program areas is required. As part of a statewide team, the FHW Extension agent will collaborate to establish programming priorities and effective delivery methods. Strong oral and written communication skills, along with the ability to work effectively as a team member, are essential for success in this role.

It is the responsibility of the person in this position to perform a variety of duties as they relate to routine maintenance and upkeep of MAFES buildings and other infrastructures. These duties include but are not limited to carpentry, minor electrical, plumbing, flooring, and following detailed instructions and procedures. May work under limited supervision and prioritize tasks independently.

This position creates a community that fosters student success inside and out of the classroom, and promotes personal and professional growth for residents. The CD ensures a balance of high level student development and customer service. This position also promotes an inclusive living-learning environment and partners with a diverse group of students, staff, and faculty to develop and implement programs that promote the mission of the University, the Division of Student Affairs and University Housing. This is a 12 month live-in position where the CD resides in their assigned on-campus apartment throughout their employment. The length of appointment will be no more than (4) years. Annual reappointment is based on performance and funding availability.

The Compliance Administrator I, II, III or Senior will serve as a member of a team of professionals employed to ensure that Mississippi State University maintains compliance with various federal regulations regarding university research. Specifically, the Compliance Administrator I, II, II, or Senior will assist in providing administrative oversight and support to any of the areas of human and animal research activities, financial conflicts of interest, biosafety, controlled substances, and responsible conduct of research. These positions report directly to the Research Compliance Officer, Assistant Director of Research Compliance & Security.
