The position is for a full-time, 9-month, non-tenure track instructor to teach online and/or face-to-face methods courses in math, science, and social studies in the elementary education teacher preparation program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Teach four undergraduate classes each semester in the Department of Teacher Education and Leadership.
-Advise elementary education majors.
-Participate in departmental activities as assigned.
- Demonstrate a high commitment to quality teaching.
-Work effectively with students and colleagues.
-Serve on departmental committees.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
-Master's degree in education with an emphasis in elementary education.
-Three years of teaching experience in grades K-6
-Technology skills required for online instruction.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Knowledge of program requirements for educators.
-Teaching experience in higher education.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
-Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to work with a diverse group of individuals.
