Position Function:
To assist the SSRC systems administrator with end user support in a hybrid PC/Mac environment.
Employees hired into Intermittent positions are limited to working no more than 720 hours per fiscal year.
Salary Grade: UC

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Clone and set up computers for new employees; configure email on computers, phones, tablets; troubleshoot error messages and end user issues; connect users to network printers; maintain equipment inventory records, install and upgrade software; create/remove/unlock user accounts; explain technical issues in plain language to end users.
Minimum Qualifications:
College-level coursework in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related area.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Working knowledge of local area networking and TCP/IP; working knowledge of
PC and Mac hardware; Microsoft Windows; MacOS X; Microsoft Office 365; experience providing desktop support.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment; no or very limited exposure to physical risk; limited physical effort required.
