The College of Veterinary Medicine, Mississippi State University, invites applications for a part time (0.3 FTE) clinical faculty member in Veterinary Clinical Pathology. This is a professional (non-tenure track) position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor (dependent on prior experience and training). The position is held in the Diagnostic Laboratory Services (DLS) section in the Department of Pathobiology and Population Medicine at the CVM on the Starkville campus. The DLS is a part of the AAVLD fully accredited Mississippi Veterinary Research and Diagnostic Laboratory System, which has laboratories at three sites in Mississippi.

The Program Manager will provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and partnership management for a university-based Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) research portfolio within the FAA’s Center of Excellence for UAS Research (ASSURE). This program supports applied research projects, technology evaluations, and industry engagement activities aimed at advancing safe and efficient UAS/AAM integration into the National Airspace System (NAS). The Program Manager will ensure program success through coordinated planning, stakeholder engagement, compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement across multiple concurrent research efforts.

The Research Engineer will provide technical and programmatic support for Mississippi State University’s NOAA High Performance Computing (HPC) program. The individual will coordinate with MSU technical staff, NOAA stakeholders, and external partners to ensure system performance, compliance with federal requirements, and successful execution of HPC research and operations.

The successful candidate will collaborate and utilize advanced physiological and omics methodologies to investigate the effects of stress on soil and plant health. This role involves taking a leadership position in integrating soil-plant stress physiology to identify genes and microbiomes associated with stress tolerance in grain crops. Responsibilities will include the design and execution of experiments utilizing growth chambers, greenhouses, and field facilities. This position requires strong expertise in high-throughput phenotyping, genomics, and skills for effective analysis of large datasets.
