Successful candidates will be expected to develop internationally recognized, externally funded, sustainable research programs in the areas of fluid mechanics and thermal-fluid sciences. The candidates should have research interests in either experimental methods or computational modeling of complex systems involving fluids, nano/microfluidics (3D printing of life organs, multiplexing, modular biology, and microelectronics), fluid-structure interactions, turbulent flows, flow of complex fluids, fluid power, hydraulics, novel actuation solutions, power generation, pump design, and advanced energy systems. Preferred candidates should show a track record in pursuing innovative technology creation research toward economically viable products, and partnerships with industries.
