Nutrition Educators engage in training opportunities provided by the Office of Nutrition Education, collect data, and perform other assigned tasks. The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) is a federally funded nutrition education program that uses a peer educator model to teach limited-resource families and youth. EFNEP programming includes basic nutrition, food preparation skills, food safety, food resource management, food security, and physical activity.

The Intermittent Worker, Test Proctor and Support supports aspects of accommodated testing and is responsible for proctoring exams and quizzes and to provide availability to all students in meeting testing requirements. Selected trainees are expected to meet all training requirements and after the successful completion of the five-week training period, trainees will be immediately placed in either an intermittent worker, student worker or full-time (9-month or 12-month) driver position.
