Project Manager Main Campus - Starkville, MS
The project manager will support the Career Horizons Project in the planning, implementation, and tracking of a five-year federally funded project. This will include leading the team, administrative support, grant management, and guiding multiple individuals to complete a fast-paced project for individuals with disabilities impacted by long-COVID. The Executive Director of Research Fiscal Affairs reports directly to the Vice President for Research and Economic Development and is a member of the division’s leadership and management team. The Executive Director of Research Fiscal Affairs provides both strategic and day-to-day support to the Vice President for Research and Economic Development on the financial and human resource operations of Office of the Vice President for Research and Economic Development (ORED) and the Division of Research as a whole. The Executive Director participates in the development of research opportunities and innovations that encourage strategic growth of the research enterprise.

Independently manages and oversees the activities of the Vice President of a major, multifaceted division of the University. Acts as the primary point of contact for both internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the office and assists and represents the office principal in communicating with constituents. Researches, prioritizes, and follows-up on multiple issues and concerns addressed to the office principal, including those of a sensitive and/or confidential nature. Manages a variety of special projects, some of which may have institutional impact.
