The Department of Chemistry at Mississippi State University invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, non-tenure track Instructor I or Assistant Teaching Professor to teach online and/or face-to-face courses in Chemistry. Primary job duties include course assignments, e.g., instruction of introductory chemistry courses in the general chemistry and possibly organic chemistry sequences. Additional undergraduate courses could be assigned based on applicant experience and interest. In addition, job duties may include supervision and training of graduate student teaching assistants. Successful applicants should have a MS or PH.D. for rank at Instructor I and must have a Ph.D. by the time of appointment for rank of Assistant Teaching Professor.
