The Project Manager will plan and implement projects associated with secondary and career and technical education. This individual may be required to manage and lead a team as necessary to complete the project. The projects are education related and will require working with secondary schools and districts. RCU projects include curriculum writing, assessment, evaluation, professional learning both in-person and online. Work in a cross-functional team environment where multiple priorities and deadlines must be managed simultaneously; attention to detail in all areas of work.

This is an intermittent position with irregular hours. The primary function of individuals in this position is to assist the full-time staff of the MSU Riley Center in preparation, execution, and deconstruction of all performance/event related equipment in the facility's various spaces. The primary focus will be on, but not limited to, performances/events in the Grand Opera House space. Individuals in this position will primarily report to the Technical Director of the MSU Riley Center, but may, at times, be asked to assist other full-time staff. This position will, at times, be working with various touring crews for national touring shows and well-known artists. Therefore, a respectable level of decorum is required.

Research Associate Stoneville, MS
The Research Associate will be dedicated to the successful implementation and execution of a 5-year project aimed at investigating the climate impact of conservation agriculture practices, primarily cover cropping. The incumbent will collect greenhouse gas emission data from on-farm locations across the Mississippi Delta and assist with collecting and analyzing soil samples and crop data. This full-time Research Associate position is based at the National Center for Alluvial Aquifer Research at the Delta Research and Extension Center, Stoneville, MS. The individual must be able to assume responsibility, carry out directed research, work independently with minimal supervision, and work cooperatively with other team members and collaborators. Because the research activities of this project will be conducted primarily on producer fields, a friendly, open-minded, and respectful attitude towards crop producers and farm personnel is essential.

The research program at the North Mississippi Research and Extension Center focuses on developing sustainable vegetable management strategies for the Mississippi and Southeast regional industries. This research associate position is 100% funded through the Mississippi Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station. The incumbent is expected to work closely with principal investigators to satisfy the goals and expectations of funded projects. Areas of emphases are nutrient management, disease and pest management, vegetable physiology, greenhouse and growth chamber technologies, sustainable vegetable production systems, and laboratory instrumentation.
