The Sr. Program Manager is a new position on our team to add capacity to support entrepreneurial commercialization of research-derived IP. This position will also oversee the launch of our new Vicksburg satellite location in coordination with ERDC and ERDCWERX under the support and oversight of the MSU main campus. Reporting to the E-Center director, this position has a dual responsibility of managing various training and entrepreneurial development programs, as well as serving as a practitioner coaching hands-on with clients. Someone who possesses first-hand experience as an entrepreneur in a technology startup company, as well as familiarity with common best educational practices, will particularly excel. Finally, he or she must be deeply motivated by the mission of service and inspired by the thought of transforming Mississippi through tech entrepreneurship. |

This position is through The National Strategic Planning & Analysis Research Center (NSPARC) at Mississippi State University (www.nsparc.msstate.edu). The successful candidate will conduct research and analysis, write reports and produce other materials for a diverse team of researcher faculty and scientists on projects related to workforce and economic development, skill development and career technical education, aligning higher education with workforce needs, workforce participation, program outcomes, and return on investment. The position will require the ability to work closely with an interdisciplinary team of researchers, professionals, and students, and the ability to work and think independently. |

The lecturer for the Bagley College of Engineering Distance Education Program at the Vicksburg Center is responsible for teaching graduate level courses through distance education. This is a temporary position that is non-tenure track. Based on the individual's educational and work background, distance courses are available in the following engineering majors: Aerospace, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, and Computer Science. This position is under the administrative supervision of the Associate Dean in the Bagley College of Engineering. |
Director, Academic Enhancement

The Director of Academic Enhancement oversees all aspects of Supplemental Instruction (SI) and Tutoring Services. The Director will serve as the coordinator of Supplemental Instruction and oversee the delivery and effectiveness of Tutoring Services. Primary responsibilities will include the supervision of SI Leaders, SI Mentors, management of daily operations, program assessment and strategic planning, program accreditation, and communication and collaboration with the Tutoring Coordinator and the Center for Academic Excellence (CAE) community. The Director reports directly to the Executive Director of CAE. |
