Research Associate II-III MS Gulf Coast
Provide computer science support in the development of data management capabilities and visualization techniques for NOAA and its partners. An experienced computer scientist with extensive development experience and cloud-based programing is required to complete this work. The position will be located at the Mississippi State University Science and Technology Center at the Stennis Space Center, MS. Salary and rank are commensurate with abilities and experience. The period of performance is estimated to be a minimum of one year with a potential for additional years.

Nutrition Educator Various locations in Mississippi
Nutrition Educators are paraprofessionals responsible for delivering nutrition education to Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) eligible adults and youth in group settings using evidence-based curricula and materials and implementing policies, systems, and environmental strategies in the community to make the healthy choice the easy choice. Nutrition Educators engage in training opportunities provided by the Office of Nutrition Education, collect data, and perform other assigned tasks. The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) is a federally funded nutrition education program that uses a peer educator model to teach limited-resource families, youth, and pregnant women. EFNEP programming includes basic nutrition, food preparation skills, food safety, food resource management, food security, and physical activity.

The Intermittent Worker, Test Proctor and Support supports aspects of accommodated testing and is responsible for proctoring exams and quizzes and to provide accessibility to all students in meeting testing requirements. This may include serving as a reader or writer for a student approved for those accommodations and other intermittent administrative tasks.
