Assistant Professor	Main Campus - Starkville, MS
The Department of English seeks a poet for a tenure-track assistant professor position to begin August 2025. M.F.A. or Ph.D. in creative writing (or degree conferred by 8/15/2025) and college teaching experience required. The successful candidate will carry a 2/2 load in the first year and a 3/2 (or 2/3) load in subsequent years. Teaching assignments will include introductory creative writing classes, intermediate and advanced poetry workshops, and directing creative theses in poetry for our M.A. students. The candidate will help to curate the department’s Price Caldwell Visiting Writers Series and the Institute for the Humanities’ Writer-in-Residence Program (recent visitors for these programs include Kwame Dawes, Kali Fajardo-Anstine, Joy Harjo, Rita Dove, Derrick Harriell, Marcus Wicker, and Benjamin Percy). The candidate will also have the option of editing the literary journal Jabberwock Review, which comes with a course release. Publications and professional service are required for tenure and promotion. Salary will be competitive.

Recently, MSU's College of Architecture, Art and Design has developed a flexible, interdisciplinary Bachelor of Arts degree designed to integrate the disciplines of our four units: Architecture, Art, Interior Design, and Building Construction Science. We have also welcomed several new faculty to the Department of Art who specialize in digital and multimedia processes. These changes reflect our dedication to keeping our program relevant and technologically current. As we expand our existing coursework in digital design, animation, digital painting, digital fabrication, and other media-based arts, we look forward to bringing on new talent. Project Manager	Main Campus - Starkville, MS
Manage a variety of activities, projects, grants, and requests for services from external clients and customers, as well as internal MSU and RCU related projects. The Project Manager will plan and implement projects associated with secondary and career and technical education. This individual may be required to manage and lead a team as necessary to complete the project. The projects are education related and will require working with secondary schools and districts. Projects will include developing and coordinating training both in-person and online. Activities may also include other RCU projects including the areas of curriculum writing, assessment, evaluation, and professional learning.
