The TK Martin Center is seeking a licensed or license-eligible speech language pathologist with experience in early intervention services to support a pilot project at the TK Martin Center and expertise in AAC evaluations or willingness to receive training. This position will have a primary role of serving young children, ages birth to three, qualifying for early intervention services in the state of Mississippi. Children may present with complex communication needs. This role may involve assisting with early intervention assessments for infants and toddlers who present with developmental delays. This position will require intimate work with a multidisciplinary team to maximize the outcomes of children (and their families) receiving services. Trainings may be required in evidence-based practice. Those with experience may also assist with AAC evaluations for the TKMC.
This position will require travel within the state of Mississippi.
If not already in possession, it will be encouraged in the duration of the first year of employment to receive the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association. |

The establishment of the Mississippi State University-Meridian (MSU-M) Mental and Behavioral Health Clinic aims to enhance the availability of mental and behavioral healthcare providers and services in the surrounding area. The clinic is designed to be a training site for current MSU students and provide community services.
The Clinical Instructor in Counseling reports to the Clinic Director and Head of the Division of Education and is responsible for providing psychological assessments, interventions, psycho-educational programming, and supervision. Additionally, the Clinical Instructor will provide crisis intervention, safety assessment, consultation services, and referral services as needed. Teaching opportunities are also available. |
Instructor I - Geography

The position is for a full-time, non-tenure track instructor (9-month appointment). The successful candidate will teach three or four courses per semester not to exceed eight total courses per nine-month period. These courses include World Geography, Physical Geography or other introductory courses in geosciences. In addition, the preferred candidate will coordinate the Physical Geography laboratory sections. The duties include making sure the graduate teaching assistants are prepared to facilitate the labs and preparing laboratory instructions and materials. Summer teaching opportunities for additional pay may be available, yet summer employment is not always guaranteed. |
