Position Summary:

The Department of History at Rollins College invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Latin American history position beginning August 2019. All specializations are welcome. We are interested in candidates with experience teaching as a sole instructor and the ability to teach introductory and topics courses. The teaching load is a 4/4.


  • PhD in history
  • Demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence, preferably in the liberal arts
  • Verifiable teaching experience
  • Capability to offer political, social, and economic-themed courses
