Our Delivery line of business are currently seeking a Civil and Infrastructure Project Manager or Engineer to join the team based in our Rhodes office. Reporting to the General Manager - Construction, the Civil and Infrastructure Project Manager/Engineer will be responsible for coordinating planning and infrastructure processes and approvals, managing consultants and authority liaisons, design management, procurement and management of the Civil Contractor including authorities, and financial and commercial management.

As the successful applicant, this role will see your responsibilities include:

  • Supporting Infrastructure and Planning Managers (IPMs) in managing deliverables and processes for authority development approvals
  • Assisting IPMs in the acquisition phase, including reviewing site information, advising on development conditions, and risk analysis and risk mitigation advice
  • Assisting IPMs, Legal teams and New Business teams in preparing property titling plans and managing title registrations
  • Supporting the IPMs in managing the design process, including consultant coordination, and coordinating design with the delivery team
  • Managing legal agreements including consultant agreements, contractor agreements, authority offers, access agreements etc
  • Preparing and administering tenders, contracts, variations, payments, invoices and progress claims
  • Preparing budgets, and reporting on project financial and commercial performance including forecasting and cashflow
  • Reviewing with the IPMs the project performance and preparing monthly reports including program status
  • Managing and documenting project meetings, recording and presenting information on authority approval processes and status
  • Providing strong stakeholder management including liaising closely with our Business Development Managers

As the ideal applicant you will possess:

  • Qualifications in civil engineering or project management
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering civil engineering and infrastructure for industrial and logistics build projects. Land subdivision experience is also desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Deep understanding of the commercial and financial aspects of project delivery
