Our Delivery line of business are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager (Infrastructure) to join the team based in our St Kilda Road 3004 office. Reporting to the General Manager - Construction, the Project Manager - Infrastructure will be responsible for the delivery of the land subdivision and civil engineering works stages of Frasers Property Industrial’s industrial, logistics and commercial developments in Victoria.


As the successful applicant, this role will see your responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Planning Manager on planning and development applications, processes and approvals
  • Working with the Planning Manager on the Acquisition stage by providing site information reviews, advice on development conditions, project timeframes, risk mitigation, and service authority requirements
  • Preparing property titling plans and managing the registration process for new subdivisions in conjunction with the Planning Manager, and the Legal and New Business teams
  • Managing the Design Management process including coordinating the external project consultants, coordinating with the project delivery team, and with the Design Manager, New Business team and relevant authorities
  • Construction Management of the Civil Contractor, managing all legal agreements, preparing tenders and making recommendations, and administering all payments/variations/progress claims
  • Managing key Financial aspects including project budgets, reporting on financial and commercial performance, and working with the New Business team on project costs and allocations
  • Reviewing and reporting monthly on project performance with the Infrastructure and Planning Manager, and communicating project status to the Business Unit
  • Ensuring excellent internal and external stakeholder management, and liaising closely with the Business Development Managers on updating of project feasibilities and outcomes
  • Managing and documenting project meetings with internal and external stakeholders, and managing and recording of authority processes and approvals
  • Managing and mentoring team members


As the ideal applicant you will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, or related design qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in land subdivision and civil infrastructure, preferably on industrial/logistics projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A thorough understanding of the commercial and financial aspects of development and project delivery, including financial reporting
  • A strategic analytical approach, and advanced problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership
  • Proactive, takes initiative, innovative, and driven qualities
