Our team has experienced unprecedented growth in QLD and our Industrial Delivery line of business are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our expanding team based in South Brisbane. Working in conjunction with the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the contractual, commercial, and financial management of commercial, industrial, and civil project(s) in accordance with the project objectives for HSE compliance, customer service, quality, margin and timely completion.

As the successful applicant, this role will see your responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring compliance with Frasers Property Industrial (FPI) HSE systems and principal contractor appointment and management procedures
  • Ensuring HSE incidents are notified, managed and closed out in accordance to policy
  • Assist Project Manager in the Design process including accurately minute taking and distribution of minutes to relevant parties
  • Ensuring design documentation is current and any Design Change Notification process is conducted in accordance with the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Alongside the Project Manager, review designs at IFC stage to ensure all variations from brief are identified
  • Managing tendering and contract award processes
  • Preparation of scopes of work and ensuring all tenders, contracts and variations are managed in accordance with the QMS
  • Management of legal agreements including leases, license and agreement for leases
  • Preparation of tenders including procurement schedule, scope of works, contracts, variations, payments and progress claims
  • Preparation of Project reporting, preparation of budgets and management of invoices

As the ideal applicant you will possess:

  • Demonstrated experience working as a contract administrator, with experience within Commercial and Industrial property developments highly regarded
  • Strong construction/building background is highly desirable
  • The ability to work in a team environment based on mutual respect and willingness to assist in achieving FPI objects
  • Have a relevant tertiary qualification or related industry experience
  • Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience in project reporting (program, financial, risks and opportunities)
  • Act with integrity, honesty and hold high ethical standards
