Our Industrial line of business are currently seeking a Management Accountant to join the Finance team based in our Rhodes 2138 office (relocating to Circular Quay around August 2023). Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager, the Management Accountant will be responsible for monthly/quarterly/yearly reporting for local management and our Singapore parent FPL. The role is also responsible for providing financial reviews and analysis on business performance.

Responsibilities

As the successful applicant, this role will see your responsibilities include:

  • Completing Month-End and Year-End tasks including journals and reconciliations
  • Budgeting, cashflow and forecasting reporting, and assisting with statutory and Board reporting
  • Maintaining data integrity, data cleansing, and SAP/Cognos interface, as our SME
  • Ensuring procedure compliance, and assisting with internal and external audits
  • Delivering financial reviews and analysis including scenario analysis
  • Supporting continuous improvement in reporting, SAP/Cognos interface, and business systems
  • Assisting the leadership group in innovation
  • Collaborating with the Finance team, FPL, and other Business Units
  • Delivering special projects and reviews
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

As the ideal applicant you will possess:

  • A Bachelor degree in business, Economics, Finance, or Accounting
  • CPA, CA or equivalent qualifications, or working towards attainment
  • Demonstrated experience in a Financial and/or Management reporting role within a corporate environment
  • Familiarity with scenario modelling
  • Experience in SAP and Cognos is advantageous
  • Strong skills in Excel
  • Adept at collaborating with all management levels
