Position Summary

The Department of Educational Administration at Michigan State University is seeking outstanding candidates for anticipated fixed-term (non-tenure stream) faculty positions in Educational Administration which includes Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education: K-12 Administration; and Education Policy. This is a part-time position (one or two-semester appointment). Primary responsibilities will be at the East Lansing campus or teaching online, but may include occasional travel to off-campus sites in Birmingham or Detroit if the class is hybrid.

Responsibilities will include some combination of the following: teaching master's or doctoral level courses related to teaching and learning; school or post-secondary administration and leadership; education policy; education legal issues; and educational finance. Position’s rank will be at the level of Instructor-Fixed Term and Assistant Professor-Fixed Term , depending on qualifications. Appointment will be for one or two semesters beginning Fall 2022. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
