Position Summary

• Candidate will work with a team to optimize Q-beta based vaccine delivery devices.
• This will involve extensive mutational exploration, with VLP expression, purification and extensive characterization.
• The use of Cryo-EM will be of particular importance, with both negative staining techniques and high resolution data collection.

Required Degree

Doctorate -Chemistry

Minimum Requirements

• • • Applicant must have extensive experience in structural biology
    • Applicant must have extensive experience, specifically in Cryo-EM techniques, interpretation, data collection, data processing, etc.
    • Applicant must have extensive experience in protein biochemistry
    • Mutagenesis
    • Protein expression
    • Protein purification
    • Protein characterization.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in other structural biology techniques such as NMR, solid state NMR, light scattering, size exclusion chromatography.
