Position Summary
Our Department conducts innovative epidemiological research focused on aging, neurodegenerative diseases, neurodevelopmental disorders, reproductive health, mental and psychiatric conditions, environmental health, cardiovascular health, and other chronic diseases. Faculty members collaborate closely with biostatistics colleagues to address critical public health questions. Our research has received support from various extramural sources, including federal funding agencies such as the NIH and CDC, as well as from state and private funding organizations.
The successful candidate will collaborate with senior members of the Department to conduct large prospective studies to understand the natural history and risk factors associated with neurodegenerative diseases and other chronic conditions in the context of aging. Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in epidemiology, public health, or a related field and have at least three years of postdoctoral experience working with large cohort studies. Strong statistical skills in causal inference and the ability to manage various sources of bias are essential. The ideal candidate will also have experience in both aging and environmental epidemiology with a strong record of relevant peer-reviewed publications.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have a doctoral degree (PhD, MD, DrPH, etc.) in epidemiology, public health, or a related field.
