Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and highly skilled Physician Assistant to join a high-volume specialized orthopedic sports medicine practice led by Dr. Toufic Jildeh MD. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a surgeon who manages a broad spectrum of sports-related injuries in athletes and active individuals, with significant exposure to arthroplasty, advanced arthroscopic and open procedures of the knee, shoulder, hip, elbow, and other sports-related conditions. The PA will serve as an essential member of the care team, helping deliver high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered orthopedic care in both the clinic and operating room. This role is ideal for a Physician Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment, enjoys both clinic and surgical responsibilities, and is eager to contribute to a team dedicated to outstanding patient outcomes and advancing orthopedic sports medicine care.
Minimum Requirements
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree in an approved Physician Assistant program; State of Michigan license, and certification by the National Commission for Certification of Physicians Assistants or, to be obtained within six months of hire; one to three years of experience as a Physician's Assistant. Requires experience in Orthopedic Surgery.
Desired Qualifications
Orthopedic surgery background desired.
